Think of the various console apps that we make use of. For example, if I want to create a new Laravel project, we have this helpful Laravel executable. Next, maybe we're using Laravel Homestead. Well, this too has its own executable. And the same is going to be true for things like Codeception, or Behat, or PHPSpec. Now, as you've probably guessed, they're not reinventing the wheel every single time. They're making use of a very popular package, Symfony's console component. So if you've never used it, well, actually, you probably have. If you've ever built a new Artisan command, well, that whole structure is just a nice wrapper around the console component.
